The inspiring true story of the world's worst singer. Florence Foster Jenkins, a New York heiress, dreamed of becoming an opera singer, despite having a terrible singing voice. In 1944 Jenkins bought her way onto the Carnegie Hall stage, performing an awful concert that became the stuff of legend. Meryl Streep, Hugh Grant and Simon Helberg create a dynamic trio that brings early century New York City to life. Wondrous sets and costumes transports us to time and place and the story cast tells us the story. A $2 donation supports the library. Please contact 949-248-5132 for more information about this film.
