DESCRIPTION:San Juan Capistrano resident film producers Robert Kline and his wife Stephanie Heredia present the inaugural West Coast Film Festival at the Regency Theater\, San Juan Capistrano\n\n\n\nThe first annual West Coast Film Festival (WCFF) will bring a unique mix of several Warner Brothers film greats\, local filmmakers and their award winning films\, a very special LionsGate Sneak Preview of a major Fall release\, a tribute to Gene Autry\, Roman Legions lining the street\, as well as Looney Tunes Greats\, and a Mary Pickford Celebration of her connection to SJC\, and Fraser Heston\, son of Charlton Heston\, to present a personal film on his father and his role\, Ben Hur\, on August 21   25\, 2011\, in SJC at the Regency Theatre and Rick's Caf .\n\n\n	The WCFF will also celebrate and honor the 50th anniversary of the incorporation of SJC as the first in south Orange County\, as well as the film heritage of the city\, with special presentations by the Mary Pickford Museum\, as Pickford made many films in SJC for producer\, D.W. Griffith. That celebration will screen two films\, from 1915 and 1921\, on August 21 to open the WCFF at noon.\n\n	WCFF sponsors\, Warner Brothers Home Entertainment and LionsGate Films\, will have special shows throughout the week\, including: Opening Night film classic\, "Casablanca\,"  and "Ben Hur"\, the 50th Anniversary\, on August 23. Fraser Heston will also present his personal film\, "Charlton Heston and Ben Hur: a Personal Journey"\, which will have a separate screening before "Ben Hur". Looney Tunes Greats\, the ones remembered and some not seen before in a 90 minute show\; and LionsGate Films will be offering an old-fashioned Sneak Preview one of its major fall releases and will screen the entire film at the WCFF before any premieres or advance screenings.\n\n	The Gene Autry Tribute is a special tribute to the legend\, and to his starting the Los Angeles Angels\, also celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year.
