Once again, the San Juan Capistrano Historical Society at 3183 Los Rios Street is hosting "Fiesta Days" on Sunday, April 29 from 11:00 to 3:00. The event, which is free to the public, features exhibits, arts and crafts, and demonstrations for all ages. Fiesta Days is a step back in time by experiencing life before everything became electronic. Doll making, rope making, tortilla making, string art, and stencil art are just some of the activities being planned this year.
The San Juan Capistrano Historical Society Centennial Exhibit on the history of the Leck House and the history of Farming in the Capistrano Valley continues through June. The exhibit, which is free to the public, features memorabilia on the 100 year old farm house, the history of orange groves, the coming of age of women in industry, the end of World War I, and a glimpse of life in 1918.
