First Friday Film - With a Friend Like Harry...

The story centers on Michel, a repressed family man who goes on vacation with his wife and three daughers. Chaos ensues when Michel runs into Harry, a childhood classmate who joins them as they head to their remote summer home in the countryside. This unusual film is a nicely balanced mix of dark comedy, French thriller and surreal drama. Michel is as dishelved and haggard as Harry is sleek and confident but it soon becomes apparent that Harry solves his problems through any means necessary. A $2 donation supports the library.
