In keeping with Zorro Unmasked at the San Juan Capistrano Mission, the library is serving up Zorro movies and TV shows during the month of August. Come and check it out.
In old Spanish California, the oppressive colonial government is opposed by Zorro, masked champion of the people, who appears out of nowhere with flashing sword and an athletic sense of humor, scarring the faces of evildoers with his Mark. Kicking off Zorro month at the library at 7 pm on Friday, August 6 is Douglas Fairbanks in the silent Film The Mark of Zorro. Next in line at 9 pm on August 6 is the tongue-in-cheek 1981 film Zorro, the Gay Blade. Zexy, zany, Zensational! A $2.00 donation supports the library. Please call 949-248-5132 for more information about these films.
