Two Time Grammy Winner to Make Two Appearances In Orange County

Laurence Juber, former lead guitar player for Paul McCartney?s ?Wings? band brings his polished and award winning musical show to the Lord Of The Strings Concert Series in both Dana Point and Mission Viejo, March 26th and 27th.

As a young working musician in London, England in the 1970s, Laurence Juber got an extraordinary, life-changing break when Paul McCartney picked him to become Wings lead guitarist. After Wings disbanded in 1981, Juber embarked on a career as a solo artist, composer and arranger, and soon developed a reputation as a world-class guitar virtuoso. That career path resulted in being voted number one by Fingerstyle Guitar magazine and winning his second Grammy. He has released over a dozen critically acclaimed solo CDs, including "LJ Plays the Beatles", "Guitarist" and "One Wing".
His latest album, "Wooden Horses", is all original tunes. His last CD "Pop Goes Guitar" includes the version of "Stand By Me" that was heard across the country on the latest De Beers diamond commercial. He is also featured as a studio musician on hundreds of TV shows including "Home Improvement", "Seventh Heaven" and the ABC Family channel hit "The Secret Life Of The American Teenager". He can be heard on the scores to the academy award-winning movies "Dirty Dancing", "Pocahontas" and "Good Will Hunting". Laurence is also a respected composer, arranger and producer. He is co-composer of the score to the upcoming video game "Diablo 3".
