Internationally acclaimed parent psychologist and best-selling author, Dr. Wendy Mogel is the first Parent Up guest speaker of the year. Her most recent best seller, “The Blessings of a B Minus,” will serve as the backdrop for her talk this time as she discusses how parents can raise self-reliant, appreciative children in a nervous and entitled world.
Dr. Mogel is a sought after expert and frequent guest in such media as The Today Show, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, CNN, NPR and Washington Post. She has delivered keynote addresses around the world to audiences of parents, educators, clergy, and more. As a graduate of Middlebury College, Dr. Mogel completed an internship and post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. In addition to being an author, her work today centers on parent guidance and coaching with older teens.
