September 30, 4:00-6:30PM "Saving The Whales: One Captain's Tale.
This is an Author lecture/book signing (Lily: A Gray Whales Odyssey) about one whales life and the perils of gill nets just off our coast. Over 1000/day world wide are caught in these large commercial nets.
Captain Dave, a DP boat Captain is trying to do something about it. His lecture is designed to help raise awareness of the issues facing the whales.
Please be part of this afternoon of learning and becoming part of the solution. Our focus is on Nature Science and Preservation.
