Topic: Internet Marketing Basics
The goal of this workshop is to develop a basic understanding of the Internet Marketing process. Participants will review the foundational components, terminology, and definitions which describe the Internet and the World Wide Web, and will be introduced to the fundamental elements of an effective Web presence. The workshop will highlight the basics facts of marketing using the Internet, and briefly introduce a number of topics to be covered in greater detail in the advanced Internet Marketing workshops such as: search engine optimization; landing page optimization; Web analytics; online advertising and pay-per-click; E-mail marketing; blogging and podcasting; social media marketing; and mobile marketing.
