In observance of the upcoming 30th Annual National Night Out, San Juan Capistrano will celebrate its "2nd Annual Night Out Against Crime" on
Monday, August 5th from 5-8pm at Historic Town Center Park on El Camino Real/Yorba, sponsored by the San Juan Capistrano Police Services in partnership with the City of San Juan Capistrano and supportive local business’.
San Juan Capistrano’s 2nd Annual Night Out Against Crime promotes involvement in crime prevention activities, and strengthens police-community partnerships. Attendees show their spirit, energy and determination in helping make San Juan Capistrano safer all year round. On this night we will celebrate safety and crime prevention successes and work to expand and strengthen programs such as Neighborhood Watch and Business Watch.
There will be booths, displays of vehicles and equipment from the Orange County Sheriff's and Fire Department, activities for children, entertainment and much more!
Come out and join in an evening of fun, food and safety education.
On the following evening, August 6th, please support the “30th Annual National Night Out” by leaving your “lights on”, symbolizing front porch vigils in solidarity with the rest of the nation as an effort to heighten awareness and enhance community safety.
