Marc Elliot will present to parent, students, faculty and staff on his book What Makes you Tic. In his presentation, Marc will discuss the fundamental lesson of teaching tolerance and how to live with our own differences, and those of others. Marc has risen above many physical challenges including Tourette syndrome, and provides an energetic and insightful look into what it means to be truly tolerant in a critical world.
Marc’s inspiring speech, “What Makes You Tic?” is loaded with timely humour, powerful anecdotes, and fundamental lessons of tolerance to encourage audiences to “Live and Let Live,” leaving audiences motivated, better-informed, and reflecting on their own lives. Marc graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and connects easily with audiences of all ages. He is now based out of New York City.
